Hi…Well yes it is officially winter! The UK tour has long drawn to a close. It was a great and varied run of gigs. Due to availability it was a mixture of rhythm sections but it all worked extremely well. It was great to perform at the legendary Eel Pie Club in Twickenham as this is the place where many early pioneers of British blues started out….including the Rolling Stones and the Yardbirds!
Swanage blues festival was also a blast, as was the Spider’s Web in Grimsby….and many of the other gigs in between…..Old favourites like the Marrs Bar in Worcester and the Robin 2 in Bilston.
The album “Catch the Fire” is doing really well with a lot of radio play and favourable national reviews in the music magazines. This helped the release to edge it’s way into the IBBA chart!
Here are some pictures from the tour:

Here’s are some comments:
“Keith Thompson Band are just amazing, their latest album is one of the best I’ve heard this summer!” – DJ Phil England (Bro radio FM)
“Catch the Flame” is a great album by a major talent on the current blues scene.
Peter Clack (Blues In Britain)
He knows how to nail a groove and deliver superb guitar playing across this album. Here we do have a British blues band offering us a quality not often associated with self-released UK blues-rock albums, and a guitarist who should be heard. Simon Redley (Blues & Soul)
Very pleased that we are riding high in the Reverbnation charts, (currently no. 8 in the UK) and we made it into the IBBA (Independent Blues Broadcasters Association) chart too for the first time.
Here are some pictures of the studio time including shots with Buddy Whittington & Laurence Jones.
There will be more news of gigs/tours soon. Watch this space! …Thanks to all those who have been to see us live or bought the album….To order your copy… go to…Density Music
